Graffiti prevention education program

The Graffiti Prevention Education Program is a curriculum-aligned resource. It educates children and young people about the personal, community and environmental consequences of graffiti.

This project was funded by a grant from the Australian Government.

The program materials feature 14 ready-to-use lesson plans and activities for students from Foundation to Year 12. Content includes:

  • fact sheets
  • role play
  • colouring and activity sheets
  • about responsibilities
  • learning the consequences
  • content for developing a sense of community.

If you spot graffiti in the city, please, report it to the Graffiti Hotline on 07 5667 5674, email us at graffiti@goldcoast.qld.gov.au, online, or via the City app.

We install urban art as a graffiti prevention treatment and partners with local artists, schools, and community groups.
