Aquatic centres – Concession eligibility
Concession entry – eligible cards
Our aquatic centres offer a concession rate to the card holders listed below. For details of pool entry prices, membership fees, etc., visit the relevant aquatic centre's page.
Student Card
- Only valid with current date and valid for the cardholder only.
- Secondary school students aged 16 years and over – must show a Queensland (QLD) student photo ID card or be wearing an official QLD school uniform
- Tertiary students –must show a current photo ID.
Pensioner Concession Card
- Only valid with current date and valid for the cardholder only.
- Pensioner concession card (all states and territories). This card is also acceptable as a digital card on a smart phone application.
Veterans Affairs Card
- Only valid with current date and valid for the cardholder only.
- Only the gold Veterans Affairs Card is accepted, not the white one.
Seniors Card – State and Territories of Australia
- Only valid with current date and valid for the cardholder only.
- A Seniors Card is available to Australians aged 60 years and over.
- Accepted Seniors Card – all States and Territories of Australia.
Companion Card – State and Territories of Australia
- Companion Cards are issued to people with significant, permanent disabilities, so that they can participate in activities for which they require the assistance of a companion.
- The cardholder is offered a concession rate and the carer/person providing assistance, receives free-of-charge entry for the sole purpose of assisting the person with a disability/the cardholder.
Important:
- Patrons must present a current card upon entry to receive the concession rate.
- An original card must be presented - we will not accept photocopies.
- All concessions are valid for one person per card. When more than one name is on the concession card, only the primary card holder (first name listed on card) is entitled to the concession rate.
