Changing Places toilet
You will need a Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) to access the changing places room. If you do not have your own MLAK key, you will be able to borrow one from our staff at reception.
Please note: You will need to bring your own four-looped sling to use the hoist.
Hearing augmentation
Hearing augmentation will be available at various locations.
We will provide instructions for using the hearing augmentation on mobile devices when the service is live.
Handsets with headphones will be available for patrons that don’t have mobile phone devices.
Pool pod
As part of our commitment to an accessible and inclusive Gold Coast, a state-of-the-art pool pod has been installed in the warm water pool at Palm Beach Aquatic Centre. The pool pod provides safe, dignified, access for all, and can be used by more than one person at a time, so a carer or support person can easily provide assistance.
For information or assistance on how to use the pool pod, please ask a friendly team member at Palm Beach Aquatic Centre.
