Palm Beach Aquatic Centre features 4 heated pools, including a 50m outdoor pool, 25m outdoor pool, indoor warm water program pool, 25m indoor learn to swim pool, and an outdoor splash pad.

Palm Beach Aquatic Centre offers learn to swim classes for children from 3 months old through to adults. Receive your first lesson free, and enrolled students can swim anytime for free.

Fitness centre

The fitness centre features functional training areas and an extensive range of resistance machines and free weight equipment. Members can access over 40 group fitness and aqua classes each week.

Opening hours

Summer opening hours (October to 31 May)

  • Monday to Friday – 5am to 8pm
  • Saturday – 6am to 5pm
  • Sunday – 7am to 4pm

We are open every day except Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day.

Features and facilities

Palm Beach Aquatic Centre has a wide variety of swimming and fitness facilities. The Centre is also available to host schools and community groups, regional events and training programs.

Memberships – Pool and Fitness (all-access)

Opening late-October - there will be 2 membership options available:

  1. Pool memberships allow access to the pools only.
  2. Fitness memberships (all-access) allow access to our fitness centres, group fitness and aqua classes, as well as our pools.

Multi-visit passes (pool access only)

Admission passes can be purchased at any City-operated aquatic centre and can be used between Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Pimpama Sports Hub and Palm Beach Aquatic Centre (excludes Upper Coomera Aquatic Centre).

Changing Places toilet

You will need a Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) to access the changing places room. If you do not have your own MLAK key, you will be able to borrow one from our staff at reception.

Please note: You will need to bring your own four-looped sling to use the hoist.

Hearing augmentation

Hearing augmentation will be available at various locations.

We will provide instructions for using the hearing augmentation on mobile devices when the service is live.

Handsets with headphones will be available for patrons that don’t have mobile phone devices.

Crèche

Let us look after the kids while you achieve your health and fitness goals!

We provide quality, low-cost child minding for up to 2 hours. Bookings are essential and can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.

Our crèche is:

  • available for ages 6 months to 6 years
  • open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 12pm
  • operated by our welcoming team.

Fees & charges

Fees are charged per hour, with the maximum stay of 2 hours. Multi-visit passes are available.

What to bring to crèche

  • Water bottle
  • Two changes of clothes and underwear if toilet training
  • Nappies and wipes
  • Comforter or dummy if required

What not to bring to crèche

  • No food or snacks
  • No medications
  • No toys or other personal effects
  • Your child if they are unwell or showing symptoms of being unwell.

Parking

Underground parking is available for centre users during opening hours. Accessible carparks are located near the lifts. Parking will be subject to availability. There is a 2-minute drop off zone at the front of the centre.
