In line with the Royal Life Saving Australia Keep Watch Policy, our Parental Supervision Policy applies within all Gold Coast aquatic centres at all times:

Lifeguards are not babysitters!

0 to 5 year olds and non-swimmers – Parents must stay within arms' reach and be in the pool at all times when swimming.

6 to 10 year olds and weak swimmers – Parents must be close, be prepared and maintain constant visual contact.

The Centre has a range of accessible and inclusive features, including:

• accessible toilets, showers and change areas
• ramped access with handrails into all pools
• pool hoists and aquatic wheelchairs.

Admission passes can be purchased at any City-operated aquatic centre and can be used between Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Palm Beach Aquatic Centre and Pimpama Sports Hub (excludes Upper Coomera Aquatic Centre).

Let us look after the kids while you achieve your health and fitness goals!

We provide quality, low-cost child minding for up to 2 hours. Bookings are essential and can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.

Our crèche is:

• available for ages 6 months to 6 years
• open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 12pm
• operated by our welcoming team.

Fees and charges

Fees are charged per hour, with the maximum stay of 2 hours. Multi-visit passes are available.

What to bring to crèche

• Water bottle
• Two changes of clothes and underwear if toilet training
• Nappies and wipes
• Comforter or dummy if required

What not to bring to crèche

• No food or snacks
• No medications
• No toys or other personal effects
• Your child, if they are unwell or showing symptoms of being unwell.

Crèche enrolments can be made at Pimpama Sports Hub reception. For initial booking, please arrive 20 minutes early to complete the enrolment forms, or alternatively, complete the online form below. Fees are paid at reception.

The indoor learn to swim pool is available for public use at the following times:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 5am – 7am, 12:30pm – 3pm
• Wednesday: 12:30pm – 3pm
• Saturday: 12pm – 4pm
• Sunday: 1pm – 3pm

Public access to pools may be restricted at times due to events or bookings. Contact the centre directly if you have any questions around public access.

Hypoxic training and extended underwater breath holding activities are strictly prohibited at our aquatic centres unless they are part of a pre-booked group activity with approved supervision by an accredited coach.
