City of Gold Coast features 8 aquatic centres which provide the community with essential health and well-being products and services.

Update to City aquatic centre operations

Council has resolved to transition the management of the City's eight aquatic centres to a single strategic partner.

There are no changes for customers at this stage. All eight centres will remain City-owned and open, and customers can continue using their local aquatic and fitness centre as normal while the transition takes place.

Gold Coast Aquatic Centre

Located in Southport, this venue has world-class swimming, diving and fitness facilities – offering learn to swim, and pool and fitness centre access.

Palm Beach Aquatic Centre

Whether you’re working out in the gym, taking the kids to learn to swim lessons, or joining a group fitness/aqua class, there's be something for everyone.

Pimpama Sports Hub Aquatic Centre

This aquatic centre offers learn to swim classes, casual swimming, plus pool and fitness centre membership. It's available to host schools and community groups.

Upper Coomera Aquatic Centre

Located at Upper Coomera Community Centre with a 25-metre heated outdoor pool and kids' water play area, this is an ideal place for some family fun.

Learn to swim

Our aquatic centres provide swim school classes for children from 3 months old through to adult swimmers.

Our fitness centres offer world-class gym and training facilities, a wide range of group fitness classes, access to our amazing aquatic centres, and more.

Externally managed aquatic centres

Helensvale Aquatic Centre

This centre is is managed by City Venue Management and features a heated 25-metre lap pool, indoor teaching pool and kids' water play area.

Managed by City Venue Management, this modern facility features 2x 50m outdoor heated pools, an indoor learn to swim pool, kids splash zone, café, and fitness zone.
