Approval is required for all temporary access to residential or private property through Council-controlled parkland.
This application includes a non-refundable $180 fee and a refundable bond (to cover potential parkland damage) and will be subject to approval conditions. A ground entry fee is applicable to those applicants where a Council officer is required to facilitate access or required to evaluate the site for bond reinstatement.
A minimum of ten (10) working days’ notice is required for temporary access bookings, with gate access only permitted once the bond payment has been received.
Temporary access will be considered for the following request types:
- fence construction
- swimming pool installation
- property landscaping
- removal of boat or vehicle from property.
