The Broadbeach Cultural Precinct is the City’s newest community project. Featuring a cultural centre, community space, library and communal outdoor meeting spaces all located at 61 Sunshine Boulevard, Broadbeach, conveniently located behind Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

The Precinct will consist of various tenancies managed by companies as well as our fantastic internal City staff team.

Broadbeach Cultural Centre

Featuring a 400-seat auditorium with stage and back-stage change rooms, a multipurpose hall, activity room and meeting room. With all spaces available for hire, you are sure to find a space suitable for your activity or event. There is a carpark within the precinct with over 100 parking spaces.

Opening hours

  • Rooms in the Cultural Centre can be hired 7 days per week between 7am and 11pm, with the exception of Christmas Day, Good Friday and ANZAC Day when bookings are available from 1.30pm.
  • If you're attending a class or event outside of normal business hours, access is only available to the relevant room.

Broadbeach Community Space

Broadbeach Community Space is a place where community, art and culture intersect, inspire and create.

This building is the home of Placemakers* Gold Coast and Life Ed. Queensland.

A multipurpose room is available for short notice, non-regular hire bookings.

Cuppa Community Café

Cuppa Community Café is a student-run café under the guidance of our expert trainers and chefs.

This is a Kidz Foodz Inc. community work skills initiative, which is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for a Work project. Skilling Queenslanders for Work provides skills, development, training and job opportunities to unemployed, disengaged or disadvantaged Queenslanders through a suite of targeted skills and training programs.

3. Complete the online booking enquiry form to check availability

4. Finalise the finer details with our team

One of our team members will be in contact within 3 working days of submitting your enquiry form to find out more about your activity and any equipment you may require.

5. Pay for your booking in advance

You'll receive a 'Notice to Pay' to the email address you provide on the enquiry form. All bookings must be paid in advance.

6. Attend an induction

All hirers are required to attend an induction. Inductions may vary from a simple Fire, Health and Safety introduction to the room you've hired, to a more complex induction including equipment use and licensing if you are holding a large event.
