Upper Coomera Centre
Since opening in 2013 the Upper Coomera Centre has become the heart of the community. Bright, modern and welcoming, it provides locals with a diverse range of facilities, rooms to hire and activities to participate in.
Everyone in the community; individuals, businesses, clubs and not-for-profit groups are welcome to take advantage of the 10 professionally-presented, hireable spaces. Spaces that can be hired range from small private consultation rooms, an art workshop, computer room to large multi use conference rooms.
A range of after school and school holiday programs for 12- to 17-year-olds operate within the centre.
Opening hours
- Rooms can be hired 7 days per week between 7am and 11pm, with the exception of Christmas Day, Good Friday and ANZAC Day when bookings are available from 1.30pm.
- If you're attending a class or event outside of normal business hours, access is only available to the relevant room.
Capacity
- Multipurpose Hall 1 – 140 people (theatre style) / 60 people (classroom style)
- Multipurpose Hall 2 – 100 people (theatre style) / 56 people (classroom style)
- Multipurpose Hall (combined Hall 1 and Hall 2) – 260 people (theatre style) / 108 people (classroom style)

Hire a room
There are 6 easy steps to hire a room:

3. Complete the online booking enquiry form to check availability

4. Finalise the finer details with our team
One of our team members will be in contact within 3 working days of submitting your enquiry form to find out more about your activity and any equipment you may require.
5. Pay for your booking in advance
You'll receive a 'Notice to Pay' to the email address you provide on the enquiry form. All bookings must be paid in advance.
6. Attend an induction
All hirers are required to attend an induction. Inductions may vary from a simple Fire, Health and Safety introduction to the room you've hired, to a more complex induction including equipment use and licensing if you are holding a large event.
After school and school holiday program
Wesley Mission provides youth programs on behalf of the City.
The after school program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week and provides physical, musical, craft and social activities for young people aged between 12 and 17 years.
School holiday programs run for between one and 4 weeks, depending on the length of the school holiday break. Wesley Mission youth workers facilitate a full week of fun activities for young people aged between 12 and 17 years.
