Level Up arts space
The City of Gold Coast's Level Up Studio and Gallery is a one-of-a-kind community arts space, comprising three key components: the Level Up Residency, the Level Up Gallery and public programs.
The Level Up Studio is designed to provide art experiences for young people and adults within the local community and beyond. This is done through public programs hosting a range of creative activities, such as art workshops, artist talks, school holiday workshops, networking events and an exciting monthly exhibitions program.
Level Up Gallery
The Level Up Gallery is a contemporary art space that showcases the works of young and emerging local arts practitioners. The aim of the Level Up Gallery is to provide young local artists with a professional venue for exhibition of new work.
Programs, events and workshops
School holiday program
The Level Up School Holidays Program is for littlies (5 to 10 years) and tweens (11 years and up) – a mix of young and more experienced artists will provide interactive workshops. We warmly welcome children, teenagers and families to participate in creative experiences on offer.
Workshop program will be held in January, April, July and September 2021.
Arty Bites is a monthly series of art workshops aimed at providing access to art experiences to young people and adults within the local community. Monthly workshops are facilitated by past Level Up participants and local young artists. Past workshops have included watercolour, wool weaving, and illustration.
Other arts programs
This art space is designed to provide access to art experiences for children through to adults. A range of creative activities will be offered, such as artist talks, studio open days, networking events and pop-up events.
