Coomera Indoor Sports Centre is a modern facility renowned for its versatility, located within proximity of Surfers Paradise and Brisbane. The facility is available for casual users, regular hire, major events and competitions.

The venue offers 8 courts that can host a variety of indoor sports as well as general indoor fitness activities. The venue has a central Mezzanine level overlooking the courts, with 5 meeting rooms and in house catering available.

This is a great venue for you next sporting event, exhibition, trade show or business meeting.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 6am to 10.30pm*
Weekend: 8am to 9.30pm*
Booking office: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

*Bookings required after 4pm. Opening hours may be booking dependent and subject to change. Please call our bookings office on 07 5581 7082 for more information.

Coomera Indoor Sports Centre has 230 parking spaces at the venue, with an additional 280 carparks in the overflow carpark.

Cashless payments

Please note that Coomera Indoor Sports Centre does not accept cash. Payment can be made by EFTPOS.

Venue information

Cashless venue

Please note that our sporting venues do not accept cash. Payment can be made by eftpos only.

Kiosk

Our kiosk is open daily from 8am whilst the venue is open. There is hot food, barista coffee and fresh cold options available.

Parking

The venue has 230 parking spaces in the immediate surroundings, and an additional 280 carparks in the overflow car park.

Visitors are reminded to check parking signs and only park in designated parking bays. Do not park on footpaths and embankments.

Library kiosk

Come and check out the Library kiosk located by the lift on Ground Level. Offering a more convenient way for members to borrow books from our City Libraries. It’s completely self-service and easy to use for City of Gold Coast library holders.

Lost property

Major Venues is not responsible for personal property left at the venues.

Due to the high volume of sporting activity and events in our venues, we are unable to store lost items. Where possible items will be returned to the sporting club or event organiser.

Please contact the organising party directly for lost items.

Filming & photography

Our venues are very popular with the film industry and staging of sport photography shoots. Filming at any City of Gold Coast Venue requires a film production licence to film or take photographs for commercial purposes.

Examples of activities needing a licence include:

television shows and commercials
video clips / corporate videos
still photography
student filming
feature films

How to apply

To apply for a film production licence at a City sporting venue, you can either:

apply for a film production licence online
Apply for licence
download and fill in our film production licence application(PDF, 100KB)
- send a copy of the completed form to us by email or post
- apply in person at a Customer Service Centre.

Most licence applications take 7 business days to assess. For more information, please visit Filming & photography

Any use of the venue or court space also incurs hire fees. Please contact the Bookings Department on 07 5581 7082 or email majorsportingvenues@goldcoast.qld.gov.au to secure a space.

Any filming outside of regular trading hours will incur additional fees.
