Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium

Positioned in Runaway Bay's Sport Precinct, off Morala Avenue, the Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium is a 4-court multipurpose facility and is home to the North Gold Coast Seahawks team.

This venue is suitable for sports such as basketball, netball, volleyball, and skating. The venue has also been utilised for expos and small events.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 7am to 10pm (bookings required)
Weekends: 8am to 9pm (bookings required)
Booking office: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

The venue is open to the public every day except public holidays.

Cashless payments

Please note that Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium does not accept cash. Payment can be made by eftpos.

Court hire

Runaway Bay has 4 multipurpose courts available for casual or regular court hire. Courts can be booked for a minimum of 3 hours to a whole day (subject to availability).

Our friendly staff will set the courts for the sport of your choice. You may just want to run some kid’s activities or run an indoor fitness session.

You can come in as an individual, a club or as a group of friends for a social get together.

Note that casual shootarounds are not available at this venue. Shootarounds are available at Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre and Coomera Indoor Sports Centre.

Event hire

Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium can host a range of events. It's a perfect multipurpose venue with great facilities to hold sporting competitions, including martial arts, basketball and netball.

Cashless venue

Please note that Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium does not accept cash. Payment can be made by debit card, Mastercard or Visa.

Kiosk

Our kiosk is open whilst the venue is open. There is hot food, barista coffee and fresh, cold food/drink options available.

Parking

The Runaway Bay Sports Precinct has a shared carpark with approximately 150 spaces.

Lost property

Major Sporting Venues is not responsible for personal property left at the venues.

Due to the high volume of sporting activity and events in our venues, we are unable to store lost items. Where possible items will be returned to the sporting club or event organiser.

Please contact the organising party directly for lost items.
