Changes to disposal of recyclable construction and demolition materials: From 1 December 2022, we're introducing changes to how you dispose of certain recyclable construction and demolition material at our waste & recycling centres. To find out more, visit Using waste & recycling centres.
Temporary changes at Stapylton Landfill: Due to emergent works at Molendinar Waste & Recycling Centre, increased numbers of heavy-duty trucks using this site will need to be diverted to the Stapylton Landfill. The temporary changes at Stapylton Landfill for residential customers will remain in place until at least 30 April 2023 to ensure the safe operation of the site. Only commercial customers and residents disposing of construction and demolition materials will be accepted. All other residents will be diverted to Jacobs Well, Pimpama (green organics only) or Helensvale waste and recycling centres.
Find a waste or recycling centre which accepts the material you want to drop off. Select the type of material from the list on the map and view the results.

Our waste and recycling centres are open every day, except for Christmas Day and Good Friday.
The City's waste management facilities experience peak demand between 10am and 2pm. Avoid delays by planning your visit outside these times.
