Recycle Street makes recycling easier, faster and more convenient. This initiative is a one-stop facility to recycle unwanted items when you visit the recycling centres.
Ensure you have sorted your loads before arriving at the waste and recycling centre. Drive into the centre, drop off your recyclables at Recycle Street first, and then move on to dispose of any other waste you might have.
This initiative is a self-service ‘street’ complete with a colour-coded shopfront for each type of recycled waste material.
Customers using Recycle Street can identify quickly where to place their recycled goods, with each bin clearly colour coded according to type of material, such as paint, motor oil, car batteries and hazardous chemicals.
