The City is one of the largest urban utility users of recycled water and we have an extensive recycled water treatment program. Learn how we manage sewage and recycled water, how to access our commercial recycled water network, and how to identify common problems in your sewerage system. We also provide advice about how to manage the approval, monitoring and reporting process for trade waste.
Our recycled water is used by the City and commercial users for a range of uses and the excess is safely released. Commercial industries can apply to access recycled water through our network or carriers. We also manage dual reticulation zones in some areas of the coast.
Sewerage systems which become blocked or overflow due to incorrect connections can cause harm to our natural environment and be costly to repair. Identify common problems and maintain the health of your systems.
Property owners, their agents and operators who generate wastewater from a business activity require trade waste approval to discharge trade waste to the sewer. We can provide advice about how to manage the approval process and how your use is monitored and reported.
