Recycled water for commercial users

The City provides opportunities for commercial industries to access recycled water via recycled water carriers or through connection to the recycled water network.

Recycled water carrier program

The City operates 10 recycled water filling stations, available to recycled water carriers.

Our recycled water carrier program allows registered customers access to recycled water for use with:

  • irrigation
  • dust suppression
  • road works.

Mandatory recycled water training

Customers who access, cart, and administer recycled water must take the City's recycled water training course.

The course provides attendees with an understanding of:

  • appropriate uses of recycled water
  • safe practices when handling recycled water
  • roles and responsibilities
  • supply points.

Training must be completed prior to applying for a recycled water carrier agreement.

Book your training by calling 1300 000 928 or 07 5667 5801.
