Our champions are qualified and experienced local health and fitness professionals who give back to the community by providing a free or low-cost community-based fitness or wellbeing class in Gold Coast parks or community facilities.

Classes must not exceed $8 per person. Rate of charge will depend upon community centre costs, capacity of rooms and whether the activity is outdoors. Each session must accommodate at least 20 participants, except for inclusive activities where exceptions may apply. Please note that as a champion you will not be paid a fee by us to run the activity. We will approve applications if there is a demonstrated need for the proposed class in the suggested area.

We are actively seeking instructors to run:

  • weekly senior dance classes
