Supplier

Suppliers are paid by Active & Healthy to deliver free or low‑cost activities.

Applications are made through a tender process every five years. The current tender (2024–2029) is closed.

Suppliers commit to annual 12‑month agreements and must submit weekly participation data.

Keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities on our Tender opportunities page.

Champion

Champions are not paid by the program. Instead, you charge participants a low fee (maximum $8 per person).

Session fees depend on venue costs, room capacity and whether the activity is outdoors.

Each session must allow for at least 20 participants with exceptions for inclusive programs.

Champions commit to the 12‑month program (July 2026 – June 2027).

Weekly participation data and ongoing communication with the Active & Healthy team are required.

We support Champions by:

  • assisting with access to a suitable park or open space
  • considering hall hire support in community facilities (limited availability – strong justification needed for new requests)
  • promoting activities on our website
  • providing an Active & Healthy uniform and A‑frame signage
  • offering networking opportunities across the local fitness, recreation and wellness sector.
