The Gold Coast's beautiful natural environment allows us to enjoy a lifestyle like no other city. You can play an active part in keeping it this way by joining the Bonogin Bushcare Group.

About Bonogin Valley Bushcare Group

The Bonogin Valley Bushcare Group was established in April 2013 and is partnered with the Natural Areas Management Unit under the NaturallyGC Volunteer Landcare Program. The group has assisted with the restoration of Council land at Davenport Park along the upper reaches of Bonogin Creek by planting 20,000 trees. This project was completed in 2020.

The group is now working on a project at Firth Park, Mudgeeraba, with the aim of planting 50,000 native trees along the creek.

You can join us and volunteer with the group to plant trees, it's a great way to get involved in your local community while helping our environment.
