Gold Coast Olympic live site presented by Westpac
Take your marks Gold Coast – the Olympics are here!
Join us in Kurrawa Park on 21 July at 4pm to kick off the live site. Become part of history as we cross live to Tokyo at 6pm for the Election of the Host of the Games of the XXXV Olympiad to find out if Brisbane will be named as host city for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The live site will play host to free activities and entertainment from 4pm to kick off the live site and announcement with:
- kids’ activities
- sporting competitions
- live entertainment
- beach volleyball and more throughout the evening!
There will also be big screen action later on when the Matildas play their first game against New Zealand.
Watch all the live action from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on the big screen for the duration of the event from 21 July to 8 August and soak up the atmosphere with kids’ sporting activities, athlete interviews, and more!
Keep up-to-date here with what’s happening each day, including any COVID-19 restrictions, and let’s get ready to cheer on our Aussie athletes!
Plan your trip and catch the G Link to Broadbeach North. Alternatively, make your journey active by either walking, riding, scooting or skating to the event.
Please note: the live screen will operate daily from 8am to 10pm from 21 July to 8 August (Facebook only permits the duration of the event until the 4th of August).
