Composting with Seed The Ground

Seed The Ground is getting their hands dirty for a clean cause! We value community composting and teaching the community how we can keep our food scraps out of Gold Coast landfill and nurture our soils and gardens.

Come join our team and get a hands on learning experience. All ages and abilities welcome.

• Learn a variety of composting techniques
• Meet & support the Seed The Ground team and other community volunteers
• Take home some nutrient rich compost
• Learn the value in composting & why we need to keep valuable and recyclable resources out of landfill

What to bring

• Hat
• Water bottle
• Closed toe shoes (boots or joggers)

Accessibility

We are working in outdoor parklands on uneven surfaces. If you have any accessibility concerns, please email with us and we can discuss and share photos of the site. There are a variety of ways/tasks to engage with so all ages, skill and physical levels can enjoy the event.

Opposite the Currumbin RSL Club, with the Gardens behind the carpark area and pickleball courts.
Free parking available. Toilets on site.
