Albert Park

A large, spacious, and versatile park located in the heart of Broadbeach Waters. Whether you’re looking to exercise, take the dog out, enjoy a family picnic or a sporting activity, Albert Park has something for everyone.

The kids will love the fully fenced playground. It features a swing set with a partial rubber soft-fall surface underneath. There is also a basket swing, see-saw, digger, flying fox, climbing play structure, two slides and various interactive play pieces.

The park offers great picnic and barbecue facilities, some of which overlook the beautiful Rialto Lake in the middle of the park.

Nature lovers can explore the twisted and windy footpaths that cross through the lush trees and bushland.

The distance around the entire park is approximately 1.7 kilometres, with fitness equipment and drinking fountains dispersed along the trail. Perfect for an outdoor workout session.

Onsite car parking is available off Fremar Street, and find on-street parking along Monaco Street.

Access to public toilets is next to the rugby field.

Sports fields

Albert Park sports facilities include:

two rugby fields
two cricket pitches
two full-sized basketball courts (for public use, located on the corner of Fremar Street an Southport Burleigh Road)

Dog exercise areas

The majority of this park is a designated off leash dog area for dogs to exercise and socialise off lead, under effective control.

Dogs must always be on leash unless in a signed designated off leash area. Dogs are prohibited in children's playground areas. Tough penalties apply.

City of Gold Coast has many areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.

Accessibility

Disabled toilets are available near the rugby field. Park facilities are accessed via the connecting pathways through the parklands. The picnic area with barbecue facilities is not accessible via this pathway.
