This reserve was purchased for the people of the Gold Coast using the Open Space Preservation Levy. It's an oasis of green space in an otherwise suburban setting, so it's a great place to get back to nature without having to travel a long way into the hinterland.
The reserve features a lovely short, flat walking track where you can see wildlife. It is an ideal spot for bird watching, with wetlands and big hollow trees that provide breeding places for water birds.
Access is via Tee Trees Boulevard or Tiger Drive.
This park is a dog prohibited area.
City of Gold Coast has numerous areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
