Eddie Kornhauser Recreational Reserve

A recreational reserve that boasts large areas of open space for locals and visitors to enjoy outdoor recreation. It has a substantial network of hard surface paths suitable for cycling and walking. Take a rug to enjoy the shady picnic spots overlooking the waterways.

Bring the football to kick with your kids. There's also a small playground and basketball court with picnic shelters on the Casuarina Drive side of the park.

Let your dog run free or use the agility equipment in the spacious designated dog exercise area located in the northern section of the reserve.

There are public toilets near the playground.

Dog exercise areas

This park has an area where dogs may be exercised off leash, under effective control. The equestrian area is a dog prohibited area.

Dogs must always be on leash unless in a signed designated off leash area. Dogs are prohibited in children's playground areas. Tough penalties apply.

Horse riding

Local horse riders can access the designated dressage arena that is located in the south-western portion of the park, via Tallebudgera Connection Road, opposite Gray Street.

Horse riding is prohibited within Eddie Kornhauser Recreational Reserve. Penalties may apply for non-compliance.

Accessibility

Disabled toilets are available near the playground. Park facilities are accessed via the connecting pathways through the parklands. The picnic area is accessible via this pathway.
