James Overell Park

Image of James Overell Park playground

A great park for sports, occupying large grassy fields. Be sure to bring the footy, soccer ball and cricket bat to enjoy a social game. There is also a half-sized basketball court with two hoops.

For anyone interested in an outdoor workout, several fitness stations can be found along the pathway. The concrete pathway loops around the entire park, ideal for a run around the park. Or take it slow and enjoy the views of the Nerang River.

Kids will love the shady, fully fenced playground. Older in style, the playground equipment has been given a refresh with bright paint colours and sandstone block seating.

Toilet facilities are available as well as car parking along Brighton Parade or Biggs Place.

Dogs must always be on leash unless in a signed designated off leash area. Dogs are prohibited in children's playground areas. Tough penalties apply.
