Open green space, trees to relax under and simple facilities await in this local park. It's a great place to take the kids for a kick of the footy, the dog for a short stroll or to just find a bit of peace and quiet.
Jim Harris Park is home to the Varsity Lakes Community Centre and the Varsity Vegies Community Garden.
There is a large onsite car park available at 20-28 Mattocks Road. Alternative access into the park is via Cassia Drive, directly across the road from the Varsity Lakes skatepark at Janette Green Park.
There are no public toilets or barbecue picnic facilities.
Access includes a pathway that leads from the carpark at Mattocks Road though the parklands to Cassia Drive.
Dogs must be walked on a leash unless otherwise stated and are prohibited in all children's playground areas.
City of Gold Coast has numerous areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
