Myola Court Reserve is part of Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area. The conservation area, in its entirety, is ecologically significant at local, regional, national and international scales. It is characteristic of the coastal lowlands of South East Queensland. The reserve provides refuge for a huge diversity of fauna and flora no longer common in urbanised parts of the Gold Coast.
Myola Court boardwalk is a 1.2-kilometre trail adjoining Coombabah Creek. The walk includes a 300-metre long boardwalk which provides a mangrove habitat experience and an excellent platform to view the park's diverse flora and fauna. The boardwalk was carefully constructed to minimise the impact on the marine environment by using a piling technique that did not disturb acid sulphate marine soils, and a shallow drafted piling vessel which did not harm the protected sea grass living in the shallow waters.
