Palm Beach Parklands is just one of the many signature parks on the Gold Coast. It provides multiple recreational opportunities, making it a favourite destination for Gold Coast residents and visitors. The revamped Pirate Park playground showcases a new pirate ship and was especially designed to stimulate young minds, encourage imaginative play and provide increased play area for all ages to enjoy. Dress the kids up in their favourite pirate outfit and get in the spirit.
A perfect day out at Palm Beach Parklands is complete with the on-site Dune Café offering breakfast and lunch from 7.30am.
Two modern amenities areas – one adjoining the café, and another at the southern end of the pirate park – provide great options for parents with littlies. There are disabled toilets in each of the amenities areas.
For those that prefer to take a dip in the ocean, change rooms and showers are also available.

Dog prohibited area
This park has a dog prohibited area. A dog prohibited area is the signed part of a park, reserve, foreshore or beach where dogs are not permitted. Dogs are prohibited in all children's playground areas and within 200 metres of all flagged bathing areas.
There is an off leash dog exercise area on the beach in the adjoining Rockview public park.
The City of Gold Coast has numerous areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
