Paradise Point Parklands

This is the perfect location for a stroll, picnic, fun in the playground, work-out session, doggy date, or to simply relax overlooking the water.

The winding walkway through the park provides a great way to start exploring the many features including:

volleyball nets
sheltered picnic areas
barbecues
various exercise equipment
open, grassed areas great for a friendly game of cricket, or a kick of the footy.

Keep the kids entertained for hours in the large playground area. Split across two zones, the larger playground includes a merry-go-round, climbing net, swings, see-saws and a slide. A smaller playground nearby is set up similar to an obstacle course. Children can jump, swing, climb and balance through several obstacles. Lower to the ground, this playground is also great for early walkers.

The swimming enclosure with shade sails over a section of the beach is popular with families. Kids can safely swim in the calm waters of the enclosure, while parents can sit under the shade on the beach.

The park benches overlooking the beautiful Broadwater provide a majestic view, and a romantic spot to enjoy with your loved one.

What's on at Paradise Point Parklands

Dog exercise areas

An off leash dog exercise area can be found in the northern end of the park at the Paradise Point Foreshore, corner of The Esplanade and The Sovereign Mile.

Dogs must be walked on leash in all other areas unless otherwise stated and are prohibited in the swimming enclosure and all children's playground areas.

City of Gold Coast has numerous areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
