Paradise Point Parklands

This park sits along the Broadwater providing a beautiful view for a stroll, picnic, fun in the playground, work-out session, doggy date, or to simply relax overlooking the water.

Popular with locals, this park has many great features including:

beach volleyball court
sheltered picnic areas with barbecues
various exercise equipment.

Keep the kids entertained for hours in the large playground area. Split across two zones, the larger playground includes a merry-go-round, climbing net, swings, see-saws and a slide. A smaller playground nearby is set up similar to an obstacle course. Children can jump, swing, climb and balance through several obstacles. Lower to the ground, this playground is also great for early walkers.

The swimming enclosure with shade sails over a section of the beach is popular with families. Kids can safely swim in the calm waters of the enclosure, while parents can sit under the shade on the beach.

The Art and Craft Beachside Markets are located along The Esplanade. They are held on the fourth Sunday of the month from 8am to 2pm.

Accessibility

Disabled parking bays are in the on-site carpark and along The Esplanade. Disabled toilets and Changing Places toilets are available. For more information visit the Changing Places toilets page. Park facilities are accessible via the connecting pathways.

Dog exercise areas

Dogs must always be on leash unless in a signed designated off leash area. Dogs are prohibited in children's playground areas. Tough penalties apply.

There is an off leash dog exercise area in the northern end of the park at the Paradise Point Foreshore, corner of The Esplanade and The Sovereign Mile. Dogs are prohibited from the swimming enclosure area.
