Salix Reserve & Salix Reserve East

Salix Reserve playground

Salix Reserve and Salix Reserve East are located in Helensvale. Mildura Drive separates the two areas.

Salix Reserve has a large open space and a shaded playground for the kids. Dogs must be on leash in this section and are prohibited from the playground area.

Salix Reserve East is a designated off leash dog exercise area. Signage is in place. There is also a small, fenced playground at the Fairhaven Court entrance to this part of the reserve.

Dog exercise areas

As mentioned above, you can exercise your dog off leash in Salix Reserve East – under effective control.

Dogs must always be on leash unless in a signed designated off leash area. Dogs are prohibited in children's playground areas. Tough penalties apply.

City of Gold Coast has many areas where you can exercise your dog off leash.
