Gold Coast Commonwealth Walkway

Step by step, discover our city on a fascinating 10-kilometre walk from the Southport Chambers in the Southport CBD, to the Evandale Council Chambers at the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct.

The Gold Coast Commonwealth Walkway, the first of its kind outside the United Kingdom, was created in partnership between City of Gold Coast and The Outdoor Trust.

One of 100 walkways across the Commonwealth, this experience is a lasting legacy of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. The walk offers an insight into the story of our modern city, nestled between picturesque coastline and world heritage-listed rainforests.

To start, download the passport, guide and map or collect a passport from any City Customer Service Centre.
