City of Gold Coast owns and operates eight cemeteries across the city, offering pleasant and cost-effective burial and ashes sites.

Coomera Cemetery

Coomera Cemetery

The one hectare Coomera Cemetery was gazetted in 1881 and is controlled by the City of Gold Coast as trustee.

Sites are available for purchase.

Opening hours

The cemetery is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

Burials

The cemetery has the following sections available for burials:

  • monumental and lawn sections
  • Islamic section.
