Enjoy our beautiful beaches safely. The City is proud to run Australia's largest professional lifeguard service, protecting our beach users and promoting surf safety throughout the year across the city.

Safety information card
City of Gold Coast can provide you with a Safety information card - a wallet-sized card created to assist people during a time of need with accessing services available within our city. The card contains relevant support services, listed by category and their contact details.
The card is also available in Amharic, Arabic, Bosnian, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Spanish, Tagalog and Thai.
Swimming pool fencing
Keep your pool fenced, your children safe, and comply with the legislation. The Queensland State Government introduced new legislation for all regulated swimming pools on 1 December 2010. The legislation is aimed at reducing the number of immersion injuries and drownings of young children.
