Gold Coast Libraries update

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to your local library!

Our Browse & Borrow service for library members is now being offered at most libraries* from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Non-members are invited to join with FREE membership for Gold Coast residents.

  • Library members can access and browse the collections - borrow up to 50 items for four weeks
  • Pick up holds when available – no bookings required
  • Express 30-minute PC sessions
  • Enhanced social distancing and safety measures in place as per QLD Government restrictions and guidelines.

*Except Robina, Palm Beach and Book Box.

Library members can continue to return items to the 24-hour chutes located at the following libraries:

  • Broadbeach
  • Burleigh Waters
  • Coolangatta
  • Elanora
  • Helensvale
  • Nerang
  • Runaway Bay
  • Southport
  • Upper Coomera.

Note: Robina Library is currently under renovation and not able to receive returned items. Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach Libraries don’t have return chutes.
