Active & Healthy

Our 12 libraries and mobile library service provide access to nearly one million items in regular and large print, audio and electronic formats, as well as free community access to computers, Wi-Fi and community meeting rooms.

Gold Coast Libraries offer exciting activities and events designed to inspire, entertain and inform, plus valuable community spaces for you to connect, learn and relax. Membership is free to those who live on the Gold Coast.

Community centres

There are over 40 community centres across the Gold Coast. Centres vary from small community halls to dynamic community hubs integrated with other facilities such as aquatic centres, branch libraries and parks. Some also offer specialist spaces such as music recording studios, art workshops, performance spaces and dance studios.

NaturallyGC's mission is to connect, conserve and explore nature through a variety of free and low cost nature-based education workshops, activities, events and recreation across the Gold Coast.

Help plant native trees for wildlife, participate in a guided bushwalk, capture the beauty of natural area photography or become a citizen scientist and contribute to the monitoring of our waterways, wildlife and natural areas.
