Background
Pauline is the Chair of the World Surfing Reserve Local Stewardship Committee that meets to discuss opportunities to acknowledge our unique coastal environment and impressive surf amenity. Committed to supporting beach management to ensure our iconic beaches are sustainable now and into the future. She is also a member of the Shark Marine Advisory Group.
In December 2017 Pauline was appointed an Alternative Director representing the City on the Gold Coast Tourism Corporation Ltd Board.
Prior to Pauline's career in Council she was a nurse for over 20 years, a company Director, worked in property and a small business owner. Pauline is passionate about the community and with a proven business background, she is dedicated to enhancing local businesses.
On the weekends Pauline devotes herself to Surf Lifesaving, supporting our local not for profit groups and promoting our growing local arts and cultural festivals.
Having raised her two children Nicole and Nathan here, Pauline is proud to call the Gold Coast her home for the past 50 years and is committed to preserving what's important to locals but also being progressive to ensure employment and growth opportunities for the future of the city.
