Receive rate notices and water bills by email

If you register for My Account, you will automatically receive all future rates and water bills by email. You can also view copies of your bills (issued since July 2018) and manage a wide range of other services through My Account.

If you do not wish to register for My Account, you can request to receive your rates and water bills by email using our online form.

When you register for email rates and water bills:

  • you will no longer receive your rates and water bills by post – the bills will be sent as PDFs to your registered email address (though you may receive a rates or water bill by post while we set up your email service)
  • you will no longer receive hard copies of the inserts included with rates and water bills (such as the land categorisation notice) – you can view this information online.

When you register for email bills, we will send you an email acknowledgement. Please check your inbox for this acknowledgement to make sure that our emails arrive to your main inbox, not your spam or junk folders.

You may need to add our email addresses, noreply@goldcoast.qld.gov.au and gcratesandwater@goldcoast.qld.gov.au, to your email’s safe senders list (also known as contacts list or “white list”) to ensure you receive our emails. For more information, please see How to ensure you receive our emails.

If you do not receive a confirmation email for this advice you will not receive your rates and water notices by email. If this happens, please email rates@goldcoast.qld.gov.au, phone us on 07 5667 5995 or visit one of our customer service centres.
