  1. Residential green waste will ONLY be accepted at WRCs with 'Green waste drop and go' which includes Coomera, Molendinar, Merrimac, Reedy Creek and Staplyton.
  2. e-waste is only accepted at Helensvale, Molendinar, Merrimac and Reedy Creek WRCs.

6am to 6pm

The City’s waste management facilities experience peak demand between 10am and 2pm. Avoid delays by timing your visit outside these times.

Accepted items

The Currigee Waste and Recycling Centre accepts general waste and recycles the following items:

  • cardboard
  • co-mingled recyclables (yellow top bins) are used for aluminium cans, paper, plastic and glass bottles.

This centre does not accept the following:

Residential green waste is only accepted at our ‘Green waste drop and go’ located at Coomera, Molendinar, Merrimac, Reedy Creek and Stapylton.

Commercial or work waste is accepted at the waste and recycling centres at Staplyton (all), Reedy Creek (all) and Molendinar (commercial green waste only).

E-waste is accepted Helensvale, Molendinar, Merrimac and Reedy Creek.
