- Residential green organics will only be accepted at centres with 'Green organics drop and go', which includes Pimpama, Molendinar, Merrimac, Reedy Creek and Stapylton.
- eWaste is only accepted at Helensvale, Molendinar, Merrimac and Reedy Creek Waste and Recyling Centres.

Temporary operational changes are in place due to construction work being carried out on site.
The Endeavour recycling area is currently closed. Endeavour recycling customers will be directed to a temporary recycling area to unload their items. Please follow the instruction of staff and signage on site.
The City’s waste management facilities experience peak demand between 10am and 2pm. Avoid delays by timing your visit outside these times.
Vehicle weighing and registration service
This service is no longer available at the Molendinar Waste and Recycling Centre. This service will continue to be offered at the Reedy Creek Waste and Recycling Centre and the Stapylton Commercial Waste Recycling Centre from Monday to Friday.

The Molendinar Waste and Recycling Centre accepts general waste and recycles the following items:
- Asphalt
- Car batteries (lead acid)
- Car bodies
- Cardboard
- Charity donation bins
- Comingled recyclables (yellow top bins) - aluminium cans, paper, plastic and glass bottles
- Commercial green organics*
- Concrete (small domestic loads only)
- Domestic green organics
- Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB)
- eWaste
- Gas bottles - empty (up to 9 kilograms)
- Motor oil
- Paint (only eligible Paintback scheme products)
- Scrap metal
- Soil and clean fill (road base and clay base only - small domestic loads only)
- Tyres*
- Used household items in good condition accepted, e.g. furniture, toys, books and other bric-a-brac)
- Weighbridge - registration
- Whitegoods (degassing available)
*Chargeable waste - fees apply.
