Festival of Small Halls is returning to Springbrook. Presented by veteran festival producers Woodfordia Inc, the not-for-profit music tour will cover around 6000 kilometres, delivering the finest of Queensland’s acoustic musical talent to 13 community halls off the beaten track this October.

It’s an opportunity for music-lovers from welcoming communities to invite artists from home and abroad into their towns, and a way of exploring this vast country in the spirit of hospitality and great fun.

From our farmlands to the flood lands, the rainforests to the outback, Festival of Small Halls audiences can expect a beautiful night of original music, as well as a chance to catch up with their families and friends during a supper break, where cake and tea are served. It’s an all ages event and all are welcome.

Festival of Small Halls rolls into Springbrook on Wednesday, 14 October with one of Australia’s most celebrated singer-songwriter Shellie Morris and critically-acclaimed blues and roots duo Hussy Hicks.

Food available for purchase on the evening. Be sure to bring cash, as there are no ATMs on the mountain.

Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Tickets available online.
