Resource Description Access / Download
Libby-Logo Libby, by Overdrive
  1. Download and open the Libby, by Overdrive app.
  2. Select 'Yes' when prompted if you have a library card.
  3. Select 'Search for a Library'.
  4. Search for and select 'Gold Coast Libraries'.
  5. Select 'Sign In With My Card'.
  6. Enter your library card number and PIN.
  7. Browse or search for a title using the magnifying glass. You can filter your results by selecting the icon with three lines and choosing your preferences
  8. Select 'Borrow' and then 'Borrow' again when you find a title.
  9. Once the title has downloaded, select 'Open Book' to read now or 'Keep Browsing' to return to your search.
  10. You can view all borrowed items through the ‘Shelf’ tab on the main screen’s bottom toolbar. The ‘Shelf’ tab’s icon is two stacked books. Your loans will automatically return at the end of the loan period.

  6. Select your book of choice then select 'Borrow' and 'Confirm Loan'.
  7. Select 'Read Now' to begin your book. Your loan will automatically return at the end of the loan period.

Listen to an audiobook
