Craft Your Own History at Helensvale

How does your story connect to the past?

In this creative activity, kids will explore historical photographs from the Gold Coast and use them as inspiration to create a collage about their own lives.

From vintage bikes and beach scenes to old-school classrooms and family homes, each image becomes a starting point for kids to reimagine history through a modern lens.

This fun and imaginative activity encourages creativity, storytelling and curiosity about local history, while helping kids see that they are part of the continuing story of our community.

Recommended for kids aged 6 to 12 years.
