Meet bestselling author Joanna Nell at as she talks about her warm, witty and uplifting new novel, The Funeral Crashers. Joanna is a British-Australian GP, advocate for positive ageing, and the author of five bestselling novels including The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village and Mrs Winterbottom Takes a Gap Year.
Her latest book introduces Martin, a retired academic juggling romance and the demands of his eccentric mother, and Grace, a widow searching for peace through her volunteer work at All Souls Church. When their paths cross at a funeral service, they stumble into the unexpected role of “funeral crashers", finding connection, laughter and hope in the most unlikely of places.
