Join the local writing community each Friday to work on your own writing projects!
We offer Gold Coast writers a free volunteer-led program to cultivate their habit of writing and connect with other writers in the community. Come along for a structured and focused space to work on your next project.
During the session, writers follow the popular Pomodoro time management method. The method trains the mind into working effectively to reach smaller targets, improving the overall writing time and productivity.
Step 1: Choose your task Step 2: Start the timer and work Step 3: Take a short break Step 4: Repeat.
Bring your laptop and writing project along, and experience a high level of productivity in a supportive environment!
Writing Fridays is made possible through our collaboration with Queensland Writers Centre and Gold Coast Writers Association.
Our programs are free for Gold Coast Library members. If you are not a member, you can sign up for free.
