Spend a free morning out with all the family, including your dog, to meet some new furry friends and get active. Members of the City's Animal Management team and an animal behaviourist will join dog owners and their pets for a healthy walk at one of the City’s off-leash dog exercise areas.
This is a pawfect opportunity to learn more about your pet from a pet expert who will be providing tips and advice on topics such as dog walking skills, socialisation, lead aggression, basic body language, behaviour and off-leash area etiquette.
The walk is only two to three kilometres for pet owners to enjoy, followed by a free, healthy morning tea. Dogs should be well socialised and fully vaccinated to attend this walk. Unvaccinated dogs run the risk of acquiring canine disease.
Please wear comfortable shoes and sun protection. Make sure you bring poo bags and pack water for you and your dog. Portable water bowls will be provided.
