The Beaches to Bushland Volunteer Landcare Program provides a platform for the local community to foster a connection with their natural environment, and encourages active community involvement as well as ownership of our natural assets.
The program supports bushcare and landcare groups working in partnership with our Natural Areas Management Unit within City-managed conservation estates.
As part of the program we also support and encourage local schools, universities and local community groups to host a tree planting day specific to their group on a weekday (conditions apply).
Please note: We do not cater for scheduled tour groups, conferences, private events such as birthdays or for non-environmental themed events.
Corporate groups may be eligible to participate by scheduling a session for their group as a team building day, but some charges may apply to purchase the trees. Your corporate group are more than welcome to join us on a weekend session and join an existing event, however spaces can be limited and you will need to contact us to confirm.
We do not participate in marketing or media events for these sessions, or allow for business marketing and the sale of products on the day. Please contact the provider for further details.
Our natural areas team coordinates the event, preparing the planting site and providing the plants, materials, tools and on-ground supervision by qualified bush regenerators.
Note the following requirements:
If you have a large group and would like to participate on a weekend please check our calendar of events and contact us directly to see if we can cater for you.
