There is a range of funding and grants available for people with disabilities, groups and organisations.
The following government departments provide ongoing funding to services, organisations and activities for people with disabilities:
City of Gold Coast’s Grants and Research Officers assist groups to obtain grant funding outside of City of Gold Coast including state and federal government departments, corporations and philanthropic trusts and foundations.
We also provide some financial assistance for non-profit community groups, including groups supporting people with disabilities, through established and occasional programs and through one-off donations. We respond to applications for support, subject to availability of funding.
The following may provide one off grants to organisations or groups for people with disabilities:
'Our Community' is a national gateway offering resources, support and linkages between the community and the general public, business and government. Apart from a vast array of valuable information, the Our Community Group offers a funding and grants directory as well as resources to support the performance of not-for-profit boards and committees.
Our Community offers an EasyGrants Newsletter and Grants Education Service and provides Australia's only consolidated Grants Information Service, delivered every month.
