Divisional boundary reviews

Divisional boundaries are reviewed by the Electoral Commission Queensland in the year before the Local Government Quadrennial Elections. The review ensures each division has relatively the same number of electors.

Due to ongoing population growth in some parts of the Gold Coast, the 2019 divisional boundary review has resulted in some significant changes.

The new boundaries will come into effect with the March 2020 elections and residents should refer to the new maps available below to check their division.

When you vote on 28 March 2020, you will be voting under the new 2020 divisional boundaries.
