Free trees

The Free Tree Program for residents and Body Corporates has finished for 2021 and will begin again in January 2022. Residents, body corporates and schools are eligible to take part in the program and receive free trees for planting on their respective properties.

A selection of native trees and shrubs are provided through the Free Tree Program. The species offered vary throughout the year and are dependent on availability. Typically, the plants range in size from tube stock to 200-millimetre pots.

Schools

Schools are eligible to receive 50 free trees per annum. All requests must be on letterhead and signed by the Principal.

Trees can be collected on the every Wednesday (all year) from 7.30am to 2pm at the Coombabah Nursery, Shelter Road, Coombabah and you must bring your approval letter with you.

Community groups

Applications for community groups are a consideration of the Divisional Councillor and can be made through the community grants page.
