If your child’s stay exceeds this duration, a duty manager will notify you to collect your child and an additional session will be charged.

Do you provide food?
The crèche does not provide food. Please provide a drink and healthy snack for your child noting that products containing nuts or eggs are not permitted. Glass containers are also not permitted.

To ensure the health and safety of other children using crèche, we are unable to care for children who are unwell.
This includes any child who displays an elevated temperature, diarrhoea or vomiting, body rashes or lesions and nose, ear or eye discharges. If you child becomes unwell while in crèche we will contact you within the centre for their immediate collection. Refer to the Queensland Health guidelines on exclusion periods for infectious conditions (Time Out brochure).

Yes, prams are welcome if this is comforting for your child and if they need a rest.

A parent/guardian must remain onsite at all times while the child is in crèche. If a different person is collecting the child from crèche, you will need to complete a Child Collection Authorisation form on arrival. The authorised person collecting the child will need to show photographic ID upon collection.
What happens if I’m late to collect my child?
If you are late to collect your child from the allocated crèche session an additional session will be charged at centre reception. Late collections can impact on carer/child ratios which are in place to protect the children in care.

Cancellations can be made 24 hours prior to the booking and no fee will apply. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours or booking no-shows will incur the full fee which must be paid, or an additional key tag swipe processed, on your next visit.
What happens if my child is disruptive while at crèche?
Staff will respond through redirection of inappropriate actions and positive reinforcement of desirable behaviour. If a child does not respond to redirection of behaviour, staff will gently take the child to the side of the group to settle the child and use the time to reflect. Staff will inform the parent/guardian of any behavioural issues while at crèche.
What happens if there is an emergency at the centre?
