Located right on the foreshore, Justins Park is a great park for kids and adults alike. There are many picnic tables or park bench seats, the perfect place to just sit, listen to the rainbow lorikeets and lapping waves, and watch the world go by. Make a day of it and bring a picnic, or grab some fish and chips and soak in the Burleigh atmosphere.
Justins Park overlooks the world-famous, Burleigh Beach - pack the swimmers and swim in the patrolled beach in the beautiful summer months. The spectacular view overlooking Burleigh Headland rocks all the way to Surfers Paradise, making this one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The kids playground in Justins Park is a favourite with the littlies - all the traditional favourites are there such as swings, slides and climbing equipment.
The Oceanway through Justins Park is a hub of activity. Stretching from Burleigh to North Burleigh, the Oceanway is a locals favourite, with the wide pathways perfect for joggers, bikes and prams. This two-kilometre walk also has five children's parks conveniently positioned at intervals - you can make a day of it visiting the different spots for the kids to play. Dogs must be walked on a leash unless otherwise stated and are prohibited in all children's playground areas.
The Art and Craft Beachside Markets are located 100 metres north of Justins Park. They are held on the last Sunday of the month from 8.30am to 2.30pm. Free City fitness equipment is located along the Esplanade stretch - combine a walk or run with these strength-building exercises. The Justins Park and Burleigh Esplanade park areas are always a hub of activity - get out and about and join in today!
