The City’s Councillors are supportive of events that are designed to provide a benefit to the city and to the residents of their community.
The City's Community Grants Programs are designed to assist community organisations to deliver projects or events that benefit the residents of the Gold Coast and promote community outcomes. Community Grants are available via a number of different funding programs run on an annual basis, generally from 1 July. To be eligible to apply for a community grant, community organisations must be able to demonstrate that the project or event meets the objectives of the particular funding program and is aligned to the City's Vision, Gold Coast 2022.
